In the art of Herman Brood viz. screen prints and paintings, all of which are signed by him, come with a certificate of authenticity.

This is the only certificate that is very reliable because it is delivered in collaboration with the heirs of Brood viz. Xandra Brood and the daughters so that you can derive the right rights from this.

90% of all silkscreens and paintings were made by Herman in Zwolle in the studio of IQ (from the late 1980s to 2001), where almost everything was photographed and put on video.

A film has also been made of this: “Kunst Begin Drr Niet An”, which premiered in Zwolle (Theater De Spiegel) and Amsterdam (Pathé Tuschinski) in October 2015.

Gwen Jansen made a beautiful documentary (film) of 80 minutes from more than 70 hours of film images. This film is still available at the Herman Brood Museum.
