Second solo studio album for Dutch Rock 'n Roll junkie and former Cuby + The Blizzards pianist Herman Brood. 'Shpritsz' was the international breakthrough album for Herman Brood & His Wild Romance supported by "The Bombita's" (background voices). The album's first single "Rock 'N Roll Junkie" became a minor hit in the Low Countries and Germany, but the second single, "Saturday Night" attracted attention around the world and became a worldwide release, including the United Kingdom. Kingdom, Japan and the United States. 'Shpritsz' was recently (2018) voted one of the best Dutch albums ever. The album cover, a painting after an Anton Corbijn photo, was voted one of the best Dutch covers ever.
