Back again: the book Showbiz Blues by Hans la Faille!

In this book, la Faille looks back on his youth with Brood in Zwolle in the 1950s and 1960s.
Showbiz Blues is a candid account of five decades of shared joys and sorrows with fellow musicians and adventures on the road.

The boy Hans la Faille (1946) hears Art Blakey on his radio in the evening and knows for sure: he must also become a drummer. La Faille is making waves in Blues Dimension, Sweet d'Buster, Cyril, Flavium and Muskee Gang and plays with renowned musicians such as Rob Hoeke, Jan Akkerman, Rein de Graaff and Wim Overgaauw. La Faille mainly derives his status from his time at Cuby + Blizzards (1969-1972 and 1996-2011). These are good times - with setbacks. In 2001, childhood friend Herman Brood took his own life, and ten years later blues brother Harry 'Cuby' Muskee died of cancer.
In this book, Hans la Faille looks back on his youth with Brood in Zwolle in the 1950s and 1960s. Showbiz Blues is a candid account of five decades of shared joys and sorrows with fellow musicians and adventures on the road.
Johan Derksen, ex-manager of Cuby + Blizzards, once started writing his friend Harry Muskee's memoirs. These were never published. In this book, as a tribute to Cuby, a short summary.

Showbizz Blues.

TOP !!!
